hi all,
good news is that we got a Baby Girl,Padmasri, on 15th.it was a c-section as baby passed motion.it has got a tinge of physiologocal jaundice ans weighed abt 8 pounds at birth and 50 cms long.

came home only yesterday and doc said nothing to worry abt the jaundice.but as such i got a very badly fissured and cracked up nipple and experiencing pain.hope twil become ok.....

And congrats to all the new borns and speedy recovery to all Moms.

Hi Vidhya,

Congrats to you. Hope u r doing well with Padmashri. Take care of yourself and take lots of garlic, moong dal, rasam (garlic rasam), methi, Jeera in your food which will help u to recover as well to establish good milk supply.

Dear Vidhya,
Congratulations to you and family.
jaundice is normal in newborn, almost 85% are born with the condition. It will subside after phototheraphy of a day or two.
Your breasts are working on their duty and you could be engorged for a few days, YOu will feel pain but good side is that all is normal and you enjoy your motherhood.
