Miscarriage and Child Loss:High TNF-Alpha can be reason fr early miscarriages

Hi,

I am 29 year old, married for 5 years, i concieved 5 times, 1st time i got it aborted as it was just after 1 month of my marriage (i regret it). After that i concieved 4 times, but was not able to carry it for more than 7 weeks in 3 of the pregnancies, in one of my pregnancies fetus had NTD and i had to get my 3 month old aborted. So far i can say that i have gone thorugh a lot and was now on the verge of giving up to this desire of wanting a baby in my life.

Till now, every diagnosis was suggested of my bad luck, but then i cannot have such a bad luck at all the time, so i started studying on internet about recurrent misscarriages. My gynae also has now started taking me seriously after 3 miscarriages, she realise that there must be some problem, she suggested i go for CD-56 and CD-59 cells test from Double Helix from Dr Reita Ghosh.

I have been tested with high TNF-alpha (CD-56 cells) and this is caused by Latent Tuberculosis and Doctors suggest that this can be reason for all my early miscarriages. Latest TB is there in most of us and this can cause TNF-alpha overproduction which will treat pregnancy as a tumor. I have started taking medicines for this - usual treatment time is 6 months. I also plan to get CD-59 cells tested and if required undergo LIT therapy. I still wish to become a mother of a healthy child, i hope this one dream of mine and all other girls who are in the same boat as i am, come true.

All the best to everyone.

Dear Neeta,

I am very well benefited through LIT therapy.

My first child was born after a year of my marriage and it was a normal delivery and after that i had two missed abortions. When i conceived again Dr. Sharda Jain, M D of Life Care, just oposit Preet Vihar Perol Pump, Delhi 92 advised me to take this therapy from Double Helix, Model Town Delhi. I took the therapy after every 15 days from my 5th week till 22nd week of my pregnency and i blessed with a baby girl. My daughter is now one and half year old. This therapy really works as i have seen many successful cases.

May God bless you with a lovely baby,

Hema

Hi Ruchi,
I have had 4 m/c with no heartbeat. I was in US earlier but now in Bangalore. MY PCR test for TB came positive and am on AKT-4 medicines as well. However, i have read articles and my gynac has also said that there are 50% chances of being misdiagnosed with TB. Am still undergoing the treatment.... This is my only hope.

HI Neeta,
I totally agree with you. Even I had 2 miscarriages and my gynae Dr.Manorma Singh had also referred me to reita ghosh and I had also undergone LIT therapy, I think for 2 times after the first miscarriage and after my second miscarriage, we tested the foetus and that was also done at reita ghosh we found that I had tb and I had tablets for 9 months and I conceived after that and right now my son is 2 yrs old. I totally agree with you.

Be confident and go through all the medicines in a positive manner, you will surely be blessed with a lovely little bundle of joy.

All the best.

Early pregnancy failure
There is a need for a national framework responsible for coordinating clinical trials assessing the efficacy of pharmacological interventions in patients with recurrent pregnancy failure.
Women miscarrying one normal pregnancy should ideally be investigated for maternal causes for their loss. However, there is a need for a comprehensive economic and cost evaluation assessment to see whether such an approach would be feasible in practice.
Further research is needed to establish the contribution that inherited thrombotic disorders make to reproductive failure.
The number and activity of natural killer (NK) cells in peripheral blood show no correlation with reproductive success. There are no controlled data to support the current use of these tests in clinical practice.
There is no scientific rationale for offering women with infertility or recurrent pregnancy loss treatment with steroids, white cell infusions or intravenous immunoglobulin. The use of these interventions cannot be recommended in normal healthy women because of the incidence of well-recognised and

Hi Sowdha

I have a confusion re LIT, i thought may be you can help?

I am currently taking AKT4 (tb medicines) and Dr.Reita Ghosh asked me to meet her after taking medicines for 3 weeks, on my visit to her, she suggested me to undergo LIT, i asked her which test explains that i need to undergo LIT, to that she mentioned about TNF-Alpha, where as i thought having controlled tb, would automatically take care of high TNF-Alpha. I am confused if LIT is just an experiment that is done to everyone if reason for miscarriage is not clear or there is a test for it. any idea ?

Thanks
Neeta

Hey! I hope you are doing well. Miscarriages are a terrible thing that can happen to a family. It is like your dream of having a child and the next moment it is all gone. There are various reasons why miscarriages happen. But I do not think that miscarriages should affect the relationship. It is the responsibility of the husband to understand that no one is at fault.
