Hello all....
My prince is here. Say hi to Yash Rahul Khot. I delivered on
Oct 25th at 11.15 AM. Had to undergo a C-section. I am doing
well.Days have been so busy.Cannot understand when day starts and when it ends...but each moment and fun.
My water broke on Oct 24th at around 3-4 pm. Actually i was
taking a nap and when i got up i felt something weird water
dripping.I thought it must be amniotic fuild but was not
sure.Later i slept for a while again and tested this time
when i got up the water gush was more dripped out of my
pants.Then we rushed to the hospital and indeed my water had
broken.I was admitted.I had no contractions what so ever so i
was induced at around 6 and i started getting contractions
around 6.30.Within 1 hr the pains were unbearable for me and
nurse said you just have started to get some contractions.I
asked for epidural.By this time i was around 2 2 1/2 cm
dilated but they gave the epidural.I was ok after that.Whole
night i slept almost.I was not dilating much.progress was
slow plus the babies heartbeat was dropping once a while.So
picotin was stopped at night to rest the baby for a
while.After that did not need picotin as i was having my own
contractions.In the morning at around 6 i was 4 cm and same
around 10.At 10 the doc said the babies heartbeat is dropping
he will give me 2 hrs for progress else we would have to
think about c-section.But within 10-20 the babies heartbeat
was dropping a lot and we had to deside on c-section.My
prince was with us at 11.15 AM PST.He was so calm ... did
not cry much after birth.I was asking why is he not crying
much :-). But he was ok.He was 20 inch and 6.9 lb and birth.
He is doing great and me too recoverying well.
Archie and all others(do not want to name ..i do not want to
miss naming any) for all and any help you have given me.I
will always be greatfull.
