Welcome to the group. My due date is apr 30. I wouldnt worry about no u/s. Diferent doc have different preferences. I have 2 kids already. both of which I only had u/s at 20 weeks. This pregnancy I had an u/s last week already. Voice your concern or desire for u/s to your doc.

Koki,

Welcome aboard. I am in my 6th week and this is our first baby. I too feel loneliness sometime as I havent told many of my friends about this great news. I want to wait till I complete my 3rd month so it was a great relief to share all your excitement in this group with so many friends from all around.

By the way I am from NJ. where exactly r u in US? How is your doc?

I do have a Q for all of you. My doc didnt recommend any U/S for me and he even told me that he only recommend one during my whole pregnancy period. Is it safe not to know whats happening with the baby?

Hi Mansi

According to my knowledge some clinics have other machines to substiute for u/s , which also determines the heart beat, the well being of the baby. so if you doctor checks the baby in other ways i think one shouldnt worry..

mansi, i think you should have U/S in every trimester. i think thats better way to make sure the baby is fine.

Rachna,

Did u tried to drink lemon juice(salty)when u feel like vomiting? Or u can keep a sliced piece of lemon on your night stand so that when u get that feeling just lick on it. Dont let your stomach empty that will also worsen the vomiting. If you like salted crackers, that too is a great idea to control your vomiting.
