Due Date Club February 2008:breast pump

Hi everybody...I need an urgent answer from anybody who can help me. I am actually looking for breast pumps that are reasonably priced. Could anybody suggest a site and/or a brand name? What would u guys reccomend? Have you guys researched on breastfeeding. I work full time and I have asked my company if they would have any problem if I took a break to express milk and they don' t seem to have a problem. Since my date is nearing I am desperate to get some information fast. Breast pumps can be so expensive. I plan to post this question in every bulletin here so I can get as many answers as possible...

I had bought medela single electric breast pump for light use for $70. It is not recommended for exclusive use. If you are going to use once or twice a day you can buy this. Otherwise use dual electric breast pump which will save time at office. Hope this helps.

Hello,

I have used breast pump for my son, he didn' t latch on, so have to pump fully all the way for 10 months. The one I used was around 280$ in March 2004. It was very good, i have travelled a lot and take it every where and use it. I still have it to use for my second one if needed(I hope not). I was using the hospital grade pump for a month, then bought this one. It is pretty good. I used Pump In Style Advanced Breastpump with 2 Phase Expression pumping in a stylish black microfiber bag .

Since you said you are going to use the break time in office, you need a good quality one I guess.

Thanks
Raji
