Due Date Club February 2006:reply for archie

Hi Archie,
My weight gain was 2.3 kgs during my last doc visit (which was 10 days after my prev one). 10 days b4 that it was 1 kg and 15 days b4 that there was no weight gain at all. My total weight gain after pregnancy has been about 9.5 kgs.
I do have mild oedema in my feet sometimes when I've been sitting for a while. I've been having it for the previous 2-3 months itself. As far as my fingers are concerned, my fingers have become a bit stout (not able to wear my rings!!) but no swelling as such.
I have been having white discharge even before pregnancy, but recently its a wee bit more and on the particlar day it was even more. But no stains, it was just pure white.
Today morning I felt some cramps in my lower abdomen and it seemed to pass down to my thighs. It was mild and bearable. Then had some shocks going thru my thighs alone 4-5 times.
And I know now that its going to be a boy!! :-)) So does it mean I'll go into labour soon Archie?!?
