Due Date Club October 2006:Need clarification

hi,

I have been going through this website. I was due on oct 20th but had delivery on oct 3rd early hours. blessed with a baby boy.

My health was quiet good during pregnancy. On oct 2nd evening I had doctor's appointment, doctor told everything looks good and i will have a normal delivery. she told the baby was down and everything looks good. but on the same day midnight my waterbag was broke and i had to rush to hospital at 1am (early hours of oct 3rd). my gynic came and told the baby is in breech and I would have to go for a c-section.

Is it possible for the baby to chage to breech in 6 hrs ? I am not at all clear on my situation. I was shocked to hear that i would need a c section, because till that day's evening I was told that i will have a normal and the baby's head is down. Also I was not at all fat. I am 5'5\"; tall, I was 126 lbs (at conception), I was 154 lbs (at the time of delivery).

Can you please clarify me ? also what are the precautions that we should take for c-section. I live in USA.
