Hi there Laxmi! I have had similar probs infact I had gained only 4-5 kgs by the end of my 33 week but since I was overweight to start with and the baby's grwth is fine the doc has asked me not to worry too much. My advice to you is to confirm with ur doc and if the doc suggests go in for a scan to see the baby's grwth. Tht shd calm u down. All the best.

Hello girls,
I am from Jan'07 board and my due date is 8th Jan..
I too have gained around 5 kgs and have completed 32 weeks. I am in London. My docs havent said anything as yet about weight gain and they think things are going alrite. But the thing is I havent had any scans or test as such after my 20 week scan which was normal.

My question is, is there any minimum weight gain one should look for. and what do u consider as overweight to start with? (I was 65 kgs and 5'3'' in 12th week and 69 kgs now in 32 weeks)

Archie, would you like to comment on this????

Thanks in advance
Shelly
