Due Date Club April 2004:Paper work for maternity leave

Name: Sree Hi, does any one started filling all the necessary paper work for your maternity leave? Have you decided how many days you're taking mat leave and what kind of leave options. My boss asked me to start paper work as my due date is April 15th. I'm eagar to know what April moms are choosing. Please do share your opinions with me.

My due date is 7th April & I am also filing for maternity leave from 25th March although I will confirm from my doc as to wht she says abt the same .
I will be eligible to take upto 3 months leave.
Will be going on for the appt on 14th Feb .

What abt you where r u working Sree?
and for which company ?

Maternity leave

Hi Naaz, My due date is April 15th, but I'm planning to take 3 months atleast starting from March 1st. I live in bay area ( CA), with CA- SDI, I'm allowed to start my Short term dis. leave 4 weeks before due date and 6 weeks after delivery. since my parents are coming in mid march, thought of spending some time with them , before I become busy with my baby :)
planning to take FMLA for another 6 weeks so my total is 3 months.
