My one year old shuts her mouth tightly and doesnt let me brush her teeth. Pls advise

buy some cute good-looking toothbrush for kid so that he is attracted to the process

dont force, if kid has negative feelings abt brushing, he will always resist.

let it be a good and funful experience

1-
start telling a interesting story whle kid is in bed and take him to brush teeth.

if he is engrossed in listening to story and watching ur actions, he wont know when he brushed the teeth.

if kid interrupts story and objects to brushing, get back attention by saying \" u know what happens next ...\"

try this out

2- try make him understand why to brush :
when kid is able to understand TV ads, show him the toothpaste ads where they show germs. If possible, show him pics of poiled teeth/some info where he knows what happens if teeth not brushed ...

9.5 months milestones
