hi ppl,

How r u all.any symptoms of labour started for anyone?well, i don show even minor symptoms.

yesterday i had hospital appt.well it was a long and scary day for me.

i felt that the baby was not moving as much as it should the day before yesterday ,coz until then, movements were vigorous.so doc asked me to take the NST test for monitoring baby movements after driniking some juice.but then it din work out...din know the reason why.i got jus one movement in 15 mts.then the duty doc asked me to count movements manually for 1 hr after eating/drinking something light.i got 4 movements in an hr.also i found out that i din get much movements whenever i lied down.

then i went to the consultant and she said that she was not satisfied with the graph and that she expected some nice bumps in the graph.so, she asked me to have a complete lunch and then come for NST again.she said the movements might be less even because of me not eating completely.she said that if she was not satisfied with that graph too, then she would be inducing me and there was nothing to worry as my due date is v near.

anyways, after having my lunch, again i went to take the NST test and within 15 mts i got 6 movements and also the graoph seemed to be showing good nice bumps.the doc was v much satsified with it.she asked me to monitor baby movements soon after breakfast, lunch and dinner and anything less than 6 movements in 2 hrs should be reported to the doc immediately.so now my full time job is to note down movements.

yesterday i started noting down movements and i had a large no of movements.But still, sometimes there r no movements at all.but sometimes its v vigorous.this makes me v much worried and every1 in my house is tensed coz of this.Is anyone under such a situation?please do help me.

Reema ....what abt u?how do u monitor movements and are u able tp feel regular movements?since we both share the same due date..thought twould be useful for me.

then when i asked the doc for internal check up, she said twas not needed.do they do internal check up in every visit after the 37th week?

then for thos who have already given birth. CONGRATS and for those who r yet to deluver ALL THE BEST.

Easier when said than done, still you need to calm down.
As long as you feel movements after full stomach you are doing perfectly fine and he/she is doing good. Remember your baby won't have much space to move so sometime when he/she is sleeping or making small moves you won't notice unless kicks and also your baby practices more sleeping in these days.

Of course you should not ignore your feelings as mother knows better than Dr.

include sweets at the end of meal to help boosting kicks.
