Due Date Club October 2008:weight gain

Name: happy I am in my 16th week. I have gained around 5 pounds until now. Is it ok? Since this is my fourth month i am not sure if that is enough.

I forgot to add that haveing good nutritious food on TIME is the most important thingy too as u all smart moms outthere know that all ready -) sweetcorn replied. Hi all,I' m in my 19th week even I haven' t gained any weight, but from now on I' m aiming at 1 pound per week for a total of 20pounds.
I have started whole milk instead of 1%fat free milk, have to start on dry fruits,nuts...

I have not gained any weight and I am 14 weeks now. My doc is ok with it and is hopeful that I will gain some once the morning sickness is over.

Rashi Mou replied. I too am in my 17th week and havent gained a kg till now. Doc says it is perfectly ok. For me too my food intake has reduced since I have become preg. It is becoming better... but I was able to eat much more before I became pg -) Again it is mostly because I find most of the food really tasteless nowadays! But can eat spicy and hot chaats and all those stuff, though I do that quite infrequently. I am trying to eat everything in moderation so that I dont put on a huge amount of unnecessary weight which I wont be able to shed later on. Infact most of the websites I visit say that eat in moderation with healthy foods etc. gauri replied. i have lost 2 kgs my doc shouted at me a lot, she changed all the vitamins pills with syrup. n she warned me that its ok if you dont inc weight in 1st trimester but u are not suppose lose weihgt
i hope in my nxt visit i put on wight
then problme is not nausea its not so severe infact i i hardly have any prob touchwood, problem is i hate the sight of food looking at food gives me yuck feeling

Hi all,I' m in my 19th week even I haven' t gained any weight, but from now on I' m aiming at 1 pound per week for a total of 20pounds.

Gaining Weight, wohoooo

Hi all,
This is sweet corn again, I´ m gaining weight, all the whole milk, almonds everyday...working! This is like a jump start weight gain for me. I´ m in my 20 week and I have scn today! Cheers to all and Good Luck!

I´ m in my 18th week and was losing weight till my fourth month due to obvious reasons!I´ ve started putting on weight recently after inclusion of Pregnancy horlicks and Prolina in my diet! on doctor´ s orders, maybe try this!

Hi All,
