Name: archana Hi everyone,

Can anyone pls tell me which brand of crib /crib materess are good for the baby.

Also btw a metal & wood crib which one is better.
Can a metal crib harm the baby , since it;s made up of aluminium rods . pls advice . Actually we have already bought an metal crib from wal-mart, but i read somewhere that these types are cribs are not good .We have not yet assembled it , but we'll have to do it soon ..since on my last check up the doc said my baby has moved into the pelvis . i wanna be ready when the baby arrives.

Metal Cribs

Archana,

I'm not too sure about the metal cribs. I haven't heard of them being recommended. We got a Simmons crib (all wood) after doing tons of research. Maybe you'll want to reconsider the metal one. Wait to see what others have to say.
