Hi,

I am in 32nd week and even my baby has a breech presentation. I am told that by 36th week the baby moves on its own to its normal position. the doctor said not to worry. I will check out about more information on this and share with you all.

Thanks,

Leena

HI MV,

Even my baby was in a breech position till 2 weeks back (I am in the 36th week now) my baby is in the head down position now though the head hasn't engaged yet...i had asked Archie about her opinion on this .....thought I would copy paste her reply for you...

\" Sheetal,
I said what I had to in that message. Your baby can turn head down until 36th week. Advait turned his head at the end of 35th week and except my Dr. no one was stressed when he was breech. I knew he would turn head down whenever he want to and although from 28th week my OB's assistant sounded in panic with breech presentation and even my Dr. in 33rd week, I was cool and quiet.

Yogas suggested and walk on fours (crawling) is known to help turn baby head down. Remember Cows and Goats don't have Obstetrician's :very bad analogy but I really mean it. Cows gestation with fetal development and the total days are same like women. She is on fours we are not:-)

Don's stress yourself on this issue, in case you don't see baby turning head down in 36th week you may opt for external versioning but that has some risk. If Dr. is not expert and things don't go well you might have to deliver baby through C-section immediately.\"

I hope You /Archie wont mind....just check with ur doc that other things are normal.

Lots Of Love & Luck

Sheetal
