Due Date Club December 2006:Archie-Update

Dear Archie,

I am 31wks+2days today. I had an u/s today and my placenta has still not moved up. My OB suggested to have an u/s again at 36 weeks to check placental position. Is there a chance for it to move up by then? As per the u/s the baby is measuring 3lbs 14oz, is the weight fine?

I am diagonised with GD. I am on a diet and checking my blood sugar 4 times a day. All my readings are fine except some occasional spikes mostly after lunch. I have not gained any weight from the past 2 weeks. I am little worried that the baby may be too small. I know with GD there is a chance of a large baby but with the diet and control I dont want my baby to end up small!!!

Waiting for ur inputs.

Regards,
Leo

Hi Leo

Well, I have been diagnosed with GD too, and have the same worry of not putting on enough weight, I am worried if my baby will be too small, as I have not seen my tunny grow in the last few weeks.

I know it is difficult to have stable readings but don’t worry everything will be just fine, and well.

My due date has fallen by 3 weeks too…

Lots of love
