hi archie & all,
i'm 10 weeks pregnant now.i'm planning to start taking saffron since i've heard that its good.plz can anyone tell me from which week can i start?should i wait till i complete my 1st trimester or can i start it right now? most importantly i wanted to know at what time of the day should i take it? which is more effective,is it taking during the morning or at night before going to bed? how much of saffron shld be added to milk?

Hi Anu,
If u r taking saffron just for the sake of you wanting your kid to be fair..i dont think it would work.Results have also opined of this view.
My opinion is rather than this start having Omega 3 fatty acids.it is wonder supplement for the baby.

Hi Anu,

For both pregnancies I started around 10th week. I am sure the methods vary by family but this is what I was told. Soak two-three strands of saffron in a glass of milk overnight. I warmed it and consumed in the morning. According to what I was told there is no difference between taking it in the morning or night.
