Hello Moumita
Every first time pregnant women have their doubts, and too many things run in their minds during pregnancy.

My suggestion for you :
1. Relax
2. Eat healthy and ensure variety in food.
(Veges, Fruits, legumes, and Milk twice and 1 serving of curd, if you eat non veg, then eat chicken, fish, eggs and mutton, but in limits, as your protein requirement can be got from variety of dals and legumes instead of too much of fatty non veg food)
3. Walk atleast 30 Min.(inside your home also works) Indulge in household work. But ensure enough rest and good amount of sleep.
4. Just few days before delivery try to take steps instead of lift, it helps in normal delivery.
5. Be happy and enjoy pregnancy.
6. Go for regular check ups.
7. Read a lot on pregnancy, labour and feeding. But do not get scared.
8. Be positive.

The above will help in normal delivery.

About your doubt of pain, believe me, once you see your baby, you'll forget all pains, and its true in case of all first time moms.

All the best.
SV

hi,
There is no need to panic or scared.Just relax and enjoy your pregnancy period.Yes anastesia is given to V******.No, you cannot feel the pain of cut and stiches. One is given painkiller for 2-3 days...you need to be hygienic.wash it with luke water and apply soframycin. The stiches get dissolved in 1 week time.you won't be able to find any difference later. don't worry.

Most doctors do an episiotomy regularly so stitches will be required.Dont worry ,they heal of faster than you can think of & you will forget everything fast

Dear All,

I'm Dr. Meghna Bharath. I'm a strong proponent of Natural Birthing.

In the run-up to becoming a Mom myself, I prepared for Natural birth and delivered naturally. Recently I encouraged and supported my younger sister and close friends deliver naturally as well [through remote advice, since we were across a 10-hour timezone :)].
