I am new to this club. Am in my 36th week and still the baby hasn't moved its head down. My tummy also isn't showing very much as it does during this time. V live in Germany, and my doc says that its going to be a small baby as compared to women here. Secondly I havent gained much weight just abt 12kgs till now, and the doc says that the baby doesnt have much space inside to move hence it may not go head down post this week. Is it so ?? is my baby going to be too small ? can anyone help me with these queries..

Dear Annu,
Read my message to \";how to engage baby\"; just two to three posts below, this will tell how to help head down baby.

Your Dr. is partly true, with a low weight baby, there should be enogh space to move in the womb and high chances to bring head down.

Your weight gain that 12 kg, which is not less, more than 25 pounds, I did not even gain that much. Your baby size should be very normal.

Hope my response to how to engage baby will help you bringing head down.

True that after 36 weeks there is very little chance to bring head down, referring to normal size baby, if yours is small then it will!

Dear Annu,
I understand your concern.
I had C-section and here without help my hubby and myself are managing. My hubby is great with his help. In fact he is the one who takes care of me/baby and kitchen and of course justice to his work as well.

Thanx a lot ARchie. I have started to do the exercises to get the baby engaged head down, n pray it does, cos I dont have any support post delivery to help me. Just me n hubby (who will be away at work). HEre they dont take a chance if the first baby is in breach position, they go for c section delivery. Not that i am afraid of it, but its just the post trauma of c section delivery that puts me off.
