Due Date Club March 2009:Second Function & Diwali
2008-10-20
Name: Sunshine

Hey,

I have my second function on this Saturday. This one has a colour theme of green and is done before I complete 5 month (8th Nov). Everything will be green - the dress code, the food, the sofas, the bedsheets, et all !!!

Next week we will be busy with Diwali celebrations, so we thought of doing it this weekend itself. After hours of window shopping, I finally managed to find a green salwar suit which I can wear on that day and also picked up this nice red salwar suit for Diwali :)

Have any of you started with your Diwali shopping? What are plans for Diwali?

Immediately after the Diwali festivities, I have an appointment with the Doc (31st Oct). Will be taking my first tetanus shot on that day!

Take care... Keep posting...

Its Festival time. I am refraining frm buyin new clothes cos i think they will get wasted later. However i have pulled out some awesome sarees frm my wardrobe which are almost new. But the biggest prob is loosening the blouses to fit my current size.
The remaining preperation is on. Buyin diya' s. About to put lights in my appt today. Will buy sweets this yr and not make it .....

I agree its better to avoid buying new clothes now. Even I had not bought anything till now. But for Diwali and the functions at home its a custom to buy new clothes, so I had to oblige.

Luckily I generally wear loose clothes so, so far not having much trouble getting into my salwar suits. Only the trousers dont fit anymore! The blouses I agree will be tight. Need to loosen some clothes sooooon :)

Have a gr8 Diwali. Take care.

I heard we need to take 3 tetanus shots in all. Not sure how true it is. A friend of mine recently delivered and knows I am scared of injections. She gave me this info and I am guessing she is just trying to scare me :)

Have a gr8 Diwali!

This Diwali I will finally get to spend some time with my hubby - alone! My in-laws have always been with us, so looking forward for some quality time together :)

Have fun at the potluck with friends. It will be a pleasant change for sure.

Wishing you a happy Diwali too! I bet you must be showing now and completely feeling pregnant :)

Yoga classes are going well. I go a couple of times a week. My doc actually encouraged me to join them as they are helpful in opening hip joints and hamstrings and increase stamina which is much needed during delivery.

Enjoy the festival!

Good to hear from you after a long time. Yeah me doing much much better now. Feel like the initial couple of months when I didnt feel " pregnant" :)

So how are your yoga classes progressing? How many times a week do you go? I forgot to ask my doc in the last appt. I had only asked her about going on a holiday which she flatly refused! Planning to ask her abt Yoga during this visit.

Take care and have a gr8 Diwali

Never take Relicord - pathetic customer care
Hi All,

According to my experience with Relicord, I will never recommend any one to go with Relicord. It' s being 1.5 years now, I am paying the EMIs, but I had enough trouble with them.
1.After one year they send a legal notice to me saying that I have not given the intitial advance of 20,000 R.s

Lifecell is the best
yes Life cell is the best, when ourbabygirl was due in Feb 2011 we shortlisted Lifecell after meeting Cyrobanks, Relicord, Babycord etc. Cyrobanks are thugs they promise you the moon and also there is no indian hand in this company so we can' t rely on them at all. Relicord is good but the offers have so much marketing gimmicks. Other players lacks either the technical inf... - CK [View Message]

Avoid Beena Jaysingh. We' ve got seriously burnt up by Dr. Beena Jaysingh of Apollo Bellandur. Dr Beena is highly unprofessional and always behind money. She is incompetent and doesn' t understand patient problems and needs. Whenever we went to her for my wife' s pregnancy she wrote all the available tests without even asking and thinking.

My personal experience with ReliCord is not good. My baby is now 9 months old and the contract is still not signed. I am following up since last 6 months.

Anybody has any idea what can be done in such a case.... - Ani [View Message]
