Hi girls,
I hope you are all doing great, enjoying all the pampering and takign it easy these last few weeks.
Just came back from my appt. and thankfully. all is well. Baby weighs a little over 5.25lbs and is active. Not all that breech anymore but slightly transverse. Doc said we will be discussing external aversion next week. Hopefully we wont need to get to that. My StrepB was done last week and is negative and BP is also in the normal range.
Neetu, I am over my 35 weeks and still the baby is not in the vertex position. Like you , I have also been quite concerned about that. You can try going on all 4's, walking, even shining a faint light near the bottom hoping baby will follow it. (Some say this works I have no idea). Also the baby might turn himself/herself in the next couple of weeks. However, try not to be too focused on this since the baby will decide which route to take.
I had also asked him about using a used breast pump with a new kit. Meenu, you were right, he wasnt too much for the idea. He said that you never know how well really the pipes get cleaned and that he wouldnt recommend that. I was also told to continue drinking lots and lots of water as this not only hepls prevent preterm labor but is also good in case a planned or a routine C-section is needed.
