Hi friends, hope everyone is doing good. I am blessed with beautiful baby girl on Thursday night 9.05 pm.

My birth story goes like this.....

Actually I was supposed to visit Dr on Thursday. But from afternoon itself I started getting contractions. I visited Dr around 5, she checked and said I am 3 cm dilated and asked me to come when contractions are 3-5 mts apart. I came home. By 8 pm I started getting heavy contractions but with 8 mts gap. I lost my mucous plug. Pains were unbearable.I forced my hubby to call Dr and reach hopstial somehow. Dr asked us to come when v called. I rushed to the hospital. The moment I entered the labour room, my water broke. She checked and said I am 9 cms dilated. I requested for Epidural but she said no as baby was almost arriving. And within 15 mts my bundle of luv was in my hands.

So friends, this is my story. I am very happy and enjoying motherhood. Bit busy with my two daughters. V named her NAKSHITHA. But one thing bothered me, don't know y these Drs r so particular about timely contractions. Because if I would hv waited for 3 mts gap contractions, I would hv delivered at home itself. So pl, if u all feel unbearable pains or if ur waters broke pl rush to hospital.

I really thank each and everyone of u and especially Archie for all the advice I got.

Dear Vara,
Hearty congratulations. Your labor story is appropriate to your multiparous status. You were not expected to hang in labor for more than 16 hours all together and looks like it was little quicker than that.

Yes, sometime one must listen to body, I always say listen to your body.

you were going to be induced on 7th right...wow that is nice...had natural delivery a day before.
thanks for the tip on reaching hospital...i will definately remember that...
baby name is also nice...

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
