Dear friends,
Is there any precautions and preparations we have do to ensure normal delivery. there are several cases of cesarian, especially in India. I heard that some doctors in India compell the patiens for cesarian to make money.
I appreciate kind reply from experts.

Dear Sadique,
There is no way you can can know about C-section, unless your last or very close to delivery scan determine baby breech (completely) or upside down (legs first).

Unfortunately I have to agree on what you heard. But not that all Dr. do that. I have experienced many cases like you said.
One of my SIL was 21 days for her delivery. She was gone to hospital -9am(good one and very popular) she was asked to admit immediately, if she does not go into labor before 5 pm she would be induced or C-section is must. Somehow Casepaper lady was my best friend and we got Dr. convinced through this friend of mine that if my SIL enters in labor will come back to hospital.

We took her to another senior Ob/GYN one where my MIL used to visit during her preg. Dr. told she is not going to be in labor for about 3 weeks. She is very normal and she does not need to take at least 50% of prescribed medicines by the Dr. in morning. This all happened on the same day, one in morning and other before lunch.

My SIL delivered baby right on 21st day normal one.

Another case I know in Pune, girl was induced and suppressed for about 3 days. With great difficulties her parents managed to take this girl out of hospital. She was admitted to another not so popular Dr. who told this is a normal case and will deliver before 5 pm. She delivered her baby by 4:45pm.

I know at the same time a friend of mine with the most complications during preg. She was considered sure candidate for C-section. On the last very day of labor she was in stage for about 20 hours and delivered normally, Drs. were surprised. In fact her real SIL was OB/GYN and brother Surgon, everyone was surprised.

Believe it or not, no way to enusre normal delivery. Do not get stress there is lot to worry. If you know some Dr. who make justice then ask your wife to visit that Dr. and things would work out better.

Hope this is some relief.

Archie
