Hi all,

I am 37 weeks pregnant and am due for my nxt check up next week at 38 wks. My confusion is the following:

Throughout my pregnancy the development of the head and the abdomen of the baby has had a difference of 2 weeks. The abdomen has been growing at a slower pace, so my doc has suggested that she either induce labor or do a c-section next week once i have completed my 37th week. Now im not scared of either of these methods but my question is- should i really be so concernced about this discrepency and agree to induction or c-section or just wait for labor to occus naturally.

Would appreciate comments from as many of you.

Hi ,
I wanted to know what is the development report now at 37th week.Did she do any more U/S lately .And even if she want to go ahead if i would be you i would rather induce first since 38 week is O.k to go ahead .Some time in fact when you are a first timmer they have to induce which is not bad it is to help with the labour and as far as health of the baby .Baby has developed by now it just they put on weight .My first son was 3 weeks early and was fine .My prayers are with you .Stay calm and ask doc. as many ? as you like till you are satisfied.
