How safe is castor oil.
As my DD is crossed today...amd by chance if doc ask me to get induced...though she said that we will wait for 2 weeks.
I read some disadvantages of induced labor

and read about castor oil as one of the safe and natural way of inducing labor.

So will it be better to try castoroil if anyway u have to get induced labor by doc.
In india doc suggested herself to take castor oil to a friend of mine

I've read Veenu's message too regarding her concern about induced labor. just like her i'm also waiting for some miracle and requesting my lil one to come soon :)

So pls throw some light on this part

I recommend Castor oil for most of the postdates. Also if you have irregular bowel movements then Docusate sodium and castor oil can sort the trouble.

Castor oil will clear your rectal path and make space for baby to descend when in labor. Castor oil in itself is not an inducer but it helps baby descend and pronounce labor if it's on it's way.

I have been visiting site and finally cld see posts. Rhea is doing good.Pretty active like other kids.she sings whole abc song and counts 1to 6 (her bro' s impact)
I have been busy since i joined work since Jan ,so my inlaws are here to help with kids.i terribley miss both kids during day.
