Hi,

Have you all started thinking about where you want to deliver your baby? I mean do you prefer having the proximity of your husband more than the rest and comfort you get during those days when you are with your parents?

I am finding it hard to decide as its not possible for my husband to take leave more than 3-4 weeks and so if I decide on going home for my delivery he may miss some of the best times during and after the childbirth. But if I decide on having our baby here in US my parents and siblings and even the new born will miss the festivals of birth and I may not even be able to take the required rest.

Please share your feelings and decision on this topic. I think it will help all of us when its time for us to make a decision.

I think it is better to have it here in US than in India becoz of the facilities available. Further, the special functions that you do can be performed if you contact your local religious assocation/community center to guide you with the rituals. Good luck.
