Hello, Please let me know whether Gerber readymade food is good for babies or not. I recently bought some Gerber foods / juices for my 1 year kid and I noticed in the bottle that Open just before heating. Do I need to heat the gerber? or i can just feed straight away. Please help.

heating is asked by the food company so that baby accepts warm food..often warm foods tastes better so its expected that baby wil not reject ! however, everyone mostly, have given their baby room temperature gerber foods right from jar,,as we dont store these jars in coolers or refrigerators or temp below 70f,,which often store people or most american families do !!
so take care, as far the bottle is sealed, and packed and mfg date is the latest,,no probs !

Gerber foods are not bad.it is always good to give your baby homemade fresh foods.but you can have gerber foods on hand always.you can feed your baby when you are on a long drive, flight,or out in mall,or just you are not feeling well.
there is no need to heat it,you can feed them directly.if your baby prefers warm food then you can heat it according to the package diretions.
you should open the container only when you are ready to feed, once the seal is broken you should store in fridge for 1 to 2 days then discard.take care.

Hi,
Gerber food is good.Just make sure to use it within 2-3 days once the seal is opened and keep them refrigerated. You don't have to heat them.
