HI all,

my due date is 9th oct and im 1 cm dilated since 26 sept(appnt date),Last appt on 3rd Oct I was 1cm only..and doc said u might take more than a week atleast. i'm taking milk and ghee twice a day and going for long walks around 2 miles or lil more some day.
Since yesterday i m feeling pain in lower abdomen and back seems like contractions. Since yesterday only these pains are really more than just mild ones before that i used to feel very mild pains anytime in a day
But since yesterday im feeling them after an hour my walk only...for 2 hrs atleast with a interval of 20 25 mins.

In fact yesterday i was hoping they will get strong and i might have to go to hospital by tomorrow. but it was OK after 2 hr or so.

Pls suggest something ...does walking impacting somewhere i hope not...and Archie wat does ur experience says till when can i go to hospital. Shld i do something to increase the process.

One more thing yesterday i was having thick dischrge too 2 3 times but not heavy very little little...am i losing mucous plug now...i expected so yesterday..but today there is no such sign.. archie replied. pp,
walking is good and will help progressing easier in labor. Do not walk very slow, walk with speed your body can take, no need to walk very fast either.

feeling pain is indeed nice. We can't say if you will go one more week or deliver in about 3-4 days but chances of crossing edd is highly likely. I suspect labor in 3-4 days if you get pain like you have had yesterday.

you are likely loosing your plug may not have completely gone but on it's way and more contractions will help that.

what impact you are referring is not clear to me, about walking.
