my son is 10 1/2 months and its a month that he had started walkingi.e 9 1/2 months and all by himself ) I didn't give hime any walker etc....now he is running around all the time.... my concern is, is it normal at this age to start walking.... can this effect his legs (bowleg etc) and since he is walking all the time he has got leaner (earlier also he was not at all chubby ) how can i ensure that his health is not adversely affected. he is not a big eater so i can't even increase his diet..... he normally has a banana in the morning and B/Feed later milk after bath ( about 6 oz) and sleeps for about hour or so.... around brunch time a fruit orange or apple stew and at lunch rice dal veg mix then again milk ( 6 oz approx) sleep again for about hour or so..... in evening i offer him custurd/ sabo dana etc....( basically soft food till 6- 6-30 ) and after that mainly feed/milk and he sleeps by 8- 8:30.... i think i cam not giving him enuff.... PLS EXPERIENCED MOTHERS HELP ME !!!!

Hetal replied. hi,
if baby starts walking by 10months, as far as he is able to hold himself with his legs, there is no risk involved.
however, heavy babies have shown a slight bow leg because of early walking but by the time they were 2 years old, their body becomes quite lean and their legs become straght on their own...
if at your dr sees this prob coming along, he would have told you by now,,or will tell you after seeing how far the legs have gone out of symetry,,dpending on your baby growth and age, wght,,otherwise not,,,
once your baby starts to cruise, you cant expect your child to put on wght,,your child is tend to lose wght because of constant interest in cruising around and now his body will start building a good muscle tone, and strength of muscless,,that how he will now onwards practising to keep his balance properly in different ways like tumbling, jumping and walking, and so onnn,,,as far as his wght is not reducing, he is good to go !
at 10.5months, his diet is expected to include :

avoid sabudana in your baby diet,,its not doing ne good to him !
also start your baby with below options,,soon after 15-20days, he will be ready for below :
you take care, good luck !
