anyone...any ideas whats going on here...has anyone experienced such a situation so far?...pls do let me know....

I lost 5 lbs until I was 4 months pregnant. After I was 5 months pregnant I gained a whopping 5 lbs back every month. So don't worry. weight loss is common in 1st trimester.

Hi VK,

I am from the march 2007 board and just thought to reply to you.Losing weight in your 1st trimester is common. I lost around 3lbs due to pronounced nausea and vomitting. In addition, I also had an ear infection. Now slowly I have started to gain weight. As long as you start gaining weight in your later months, it should'nt be a problem.

Talk to your doctor if it really bothers you a lot. I am sure you will start putting on weight in your 4th month.

Regards,
AVB
