Due Date Club February 2006:Breech Position - For Archie

Name: Pooja Dear Archie,

I had an appointment with the doctor on saturday. She is now satisfied with the weight of the baby but the baby is still in breech position. Today I have completed 33 weeks (from LMP). I will go for an u/s in the first week of the next month. Archie, what would you anticipate at this stage? whether, the baby will change the position or not? I will also like to add here that my baby moves a lot but always in breech position.

Breech position

Hi Pooja & Amisha,

I am in my 7th month and this is my 1st baby. Even my baby was in breech position. Even I was worried. But my mom and my MIL told me not to worry. Once baby starts moving fast, it changes the position. My doc. told me that now she thinks that my baby has changed the position.

So u dont have to worry. All d best.

Hi Pooja,

I am Amisha. New member of dis group fron Singapore. I am also 3 wks pregnent and my baby is also in breech position. And same as urs, he also moves a lot..But no need to worry, my doc has said that within a week or 2, he may be in a downward position and if not doc can try and bring him down to the desired position by simple massgae of the abdomen..SO dont worry, everything will be fine...
