Hi Vijay,
I have been having gray hair since I was 9-10. I am 28 years old now. Noone else in my family has grey hair. What can be the cause of pre-mature grey hair and can I make it black. Please advise.

Excessive intake of tea, coffee, alcohol, meat, fried, oily, greasy, spicy, sour, and acidic foods leads to graying prematurely. I mean improper diet leads to premature graying. May be when you were 9-10, your diet was not good.

Remedies for premature graying:

Apply a paste made from 2-Tsp. henna powder, 1-tsp. curd, 1-tsp. fenugreek seed (methi) powder, 1 tbsp. coffee, 2-tbsp. mint juice. Apply this paste to the hair for two hours. For a darker color, leave this paste in for 3 to 4 hours. Wash hair with any natural shampoo.

Grate some fresh ginger. Mix with honey and place it in a jar. Eat 1 tea spoon everyday.

As Vijay has said taking iron content food like dates is good. Do one thing Soak 4 dry dates in water overnight. Next morning eat the dates and throw the water. Do this daily for 2-3 months.

take proper diet.

Mix 10 ground black peppers in one cup curd and wash hair with this mixture.
This will soften the hair and blacken them as well. Do this at least once a week for good results.


In half a cup of curd mix the juice of one lemon and mage into scalp.
Leave on for 20 minutes and then wash. This will make the hair soft and will reduce the greying of hair
