Children also must learn to take care of the environment. With rise in pollution, global warming is increasing at a fast pace which is a great cause of concern. Because of global warming, glaciers are melting, etc. One tip I teach kids is to walk instead of using the elevator. Also, walking is good for health.


Poonam replied. I really like the point of using carpool. Yes, rather than traveling by cars children should try to walk. Not only children but even adults should try to use public transport like buses and trains whenever possible. The fewer the number of cars, the lesser will be the pollution in the air. And when you walk, there is no fuel burned at all, so no pollution.

Gauri replied. One tip I would give for the parents is try to use less of the dishwasher if you do. Dishwasher consumes a lot of electricity. Wash dishes with the hand or run the dishwasher only when it is full. Washing dishes in the dishwasher consumes more energy than washing with hands. By the way, very nice article!
