I am still in my fifth month but excited about the godbharai function. It' s the first function for the baby and sounds so exciting!! :)I know its very early but I have started planning for the function. I want it to be a grand one. Please share your experiences.

Hi shubha glad to know you want to know more about this custome though you don' t have it. God Bharai is done when a woman is pregnant.It means your God or lap are being filled, that is you are going to have a baby in your lap soon.Basically all elders bless the would be mother.

Godbharai is a wonderful function. It is a sort of get-together for all relatives and friends. Would be mother looks very beautiful in ornaments made of flowers. Singing, fun and games make this function more enjoyable.

My sister' s godbharai is due in January end. Planning are in full swing. We are planning to keep a theme for dress and decor. We have ordered loads of fresh flowers as the house and the would be mother is to be decorated with them. There will be lots of games and fun
