Congratulations all of you. I got my blood test done yday and my HCG level is 849. one more test to be taken this weekend. How about you all? you had your blood test or ultrasound done?

Thanks for that info Jichi, and no my full name is bharati suma not sumathi. actually my doc gave me an appointment on feb14th which will be my 10th week so was wondering what to do. and i had no blood tests done till now neither are scheduled any in future till now. so just clarifying.

feb 14th....that is long isnt? you have General Physician right? she might give you blood test to confirm.

I have a friend sumathi whom we call suma in ottawa. thats y i was curious.

How r u doing?? as this is ur 2nd pregnancy just needed a clarification.I stay in ottawa.when will the first appointment be scheduled? Does it differ from doc to doc?? and after how many weeks did u have ur HCG test done? Pls lemme know as i recently came here.

hi suma,

I had my first one in the US. so Canada is new for me too. But Blood test, you can do it as soon as you tested HPT. You will have a regular appt around 8 weeks with ultrasound (that is what my doctor said)

Hi Jichi,

Congratulations on your pregnency.I called my gynec yesterday to make an appointment for blood test, but the doctors office said that they cannot schedule appointment till I am in my 8th week.
Do you know how much count HCG should be? I am really worried because I just want to make sure everything is ok with my pregnency and I am not getting the doc appointment.

Please update me if you know how much HCG should one have in 5th week

hi, this is garima, i read ur message, i am also in 5 week of my pregnancy and even my gynaec has told me that she will done my ultrasound and other test in my 8-9 week. so plz don´ t worry.

i tried to post the website from which i compared my hcg level....since the site is under moderation it is yet to be posted...so am giving you the detail...for 35 days preg...hcg level can be between the range 18-7340 IU/L

for 42 LMP, 1080-56500 IU/L. This is what it says.....
