I have been advised ultrasound scan but I am in my last trimester of pregnancy. Earlier also I had done 3 ultrasounds. I am feeling apprehensive that so many ultrasounds will harm my baby.

There can be risk of getting many ultrasounds done. ultrasounds should only be done only when medically required. Typically each pregnancy needs 2 ultrasounds: one in the early trimester to confirm pregnancy and the second between 18-20 weeks to check fetal development. the effects of repeated ultrasound exposures on the fetus are not fully established

There is no need to worry. ultrasound is a safe method of checking fetal anatomies. Even I had more than 2 scans during my pregnancy term. there was no problem as ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves.
