do not be upset , i know my friend's child could not even sit up firmly at 12 month , now the baby is 14 month , can sit well , try to stand up . for diff baby these miliestone come diff time . wish you all the best . keep in touch .

There is nothing to worry at all. My first 2 kids did not crawl at all. In fact one day both of them started sitting, and then standing and then walking! All my friends (and especially older members in my family) used to sday that they reason they are not crawling is becuase I don't leave them alone at all, and keep carrying them, so they have no chance to crawl. But I think it depends from child to child, and nothing with how the mother is treating them.
