I' m in 7th week of pregnancy and the due date is in 1st week of feb. My first U/S will be in next week. I' m excited and bit scarred. I would like to hear from wud-be-moms who are expecting around the same time

Hi Can you suggest good gynaecs around
Jayanagar Bangalore. Any one knows how good is Dr. Sudha Ramesh (Rajshekar Hospital)?
Also Came across other names Dr Hema Divakar etc., Please suggest the best one.
Due date is 24th Feb and anxious to see good doc :(

Hi Aparna,

I had spotting from 5th week. The ultrasound showed no issues. The doc was able to see the heartbeat.

But I still spotted occasionally. So the doc has put me on utrogestan (natural progesterone). She says its very safe. Did your doc say anything like this ?.

don´ t worry

Kalpana,

I saw little bit of brown spotting in 5th and 6th weeks (but occationally, like once in 2,3days). In my 7th week, I saw a little pinkish and got worried. But that was the last time. After checkup, seing the little heartbeat we are good. There is no spotting at all.
Don´ t worry about anything Kalpana. I know its hard to keep it out of mind especially in first trimister but try ur best. You saw baby´ s heartbeat which is assuring that everything is good inside. It might be just some old blood.
Looks like we are on the same boat with 3yr old son, asking all questions about baby :) Take rest and good luck.

Hey Shilpa, Nice to know that you had your scan & could see baby' s heartbeat. Must be very excited to see the heartbeat..Isn' t it??

Hi,
I am having my second baby due on 4th feb' 08. Just came from the U/S. Actual apt is next week but I saw a little spotting yesterday and got worried.
Everything is okay and we saw baby' s heartbeat. Doc told me not to worry and happy to annouce.
Shilpa, U/S was internal but don' t worry. It will be over before you know it and its not that painful :)

I had my scanning yesterday and it went on well. We cud see the baby´ s heartbeat. Scanning was external.
