Let me just say that Ayurveda and Homeopathy are two fields that are really getting popular especially when traditional regular medicine what some people call allopathy tends to have far reaching side effects. Actually Ayurveda helps only when your problem has been diagnosed properly by a \" vaidya\" (Ayurvedic doc)the right medicine has been prescribed...but still it is better...has less side effects. 1. Complete cure may not occur and by the time you realise this, it will be too late.
2. Adulterating the powders used in Ayurvedic treatment is very easy.

I know most people prefer to consider only allopathy as ' real medicine' but truth is, holistic medicine works better. Allopathic medicines have tons of side effects. Ayurveda has none. Just because it comes from our traditions, we tend to disregard it. My parents and forefathers have always used Ayurveda. I use it in conjunction with modern medicine. I take a lot of churnas and powders for digestive problems. They work extremely well. I think however that Ayurveda should be merged into one' s lifestyle. It' s not just about curing one particular problem. It is about living simply and holistically.
