C-Section:Wanted a c-section!

I was just so scared to go through the labour pains that I almost told my gynac closer to the date that she should not hesitate in considering a c-section. And although she tried for a normal delivery, becasue of some complications at the last minute she had to do a c-section. I am so happy I did not have to go through the labour pains that I have heards so much about. And yes there was some pain at the site of the stitches, but I am sure it was much more bearable than labour pains. I am now expecting my second and the doctor has told me I will have another cesaerean.

I had my son naturally with no pain medication and it was the most amazing experience. I will admit that it did indeed hurt alot but i would do it again in a second. But next time i'm afraid i will have to have a ceserian due to me having such a large baby.

Nowadays normal delivery can also be painless.doctor just gives one injection when the pains just starts and you can have a very normal painless delivery.its now quite common practice in india.pls enquire about it to your doctor. I have seen many such painless deliveries in my family. So it is much much better than c-section.

I am not sure why you wanted a c-section. I can tell you that normal is much easier on the body becaseu I have gone through both types of deliveries. With a normal delivery, you can be on your feet within a day...but with a c-section it takes atleast 3-4 days and ois rather painful.

RE:C-Section
C-sections are planned when the mother wishes to escape the labor pain or in emergencies like if the cord is entangled around the baby's neck and the baby's life is at risk. But i think natural delivery is always a better option.... - Neeta [View Message]
