Things Dads should Never Do in Front of Kids

Involvement of fathers is extremely important for the healthy development of kids. At the same time it is also very important for them to behave responsibly in front of kids. Read on to learn about the things dads should never do in front of kids.

It is obvious that parents appreciate their kids by calling a good girl or a good boy. Every affirmation from a parent is a perfect encouragement for a kid. Frankly, it is a real appreciation when it comes from parents, especially when it is from a dad. An appreciation is a million dollar worth jewel when dad recognizes his child’s worth. A child feels on the top of the world if his or her dad encourages him or her. Today’s dads are not only responsible like earlier generation dads but also are quite smart in discharging their multiple duties towards their families.

Why Dads Need to Show Increased Involvement?

There are parents who are very insensitive to the feelings and requirements of their children. Dads are very involved in their jobs, that they do not find time for these kinds of feelings. But with the changing times, parent’s roles and responsibilities also took a major change. When a woman is not confined to the house, she is discharging her major role as an employee. She needs a helping hand when it comes to nurturing her kids at home.  So, when dads shoulder their responsibility and take care of kids, kids grow up very healthy both physically and mentally.

In today’s world, a child is interacting with people from very young age, he or she needs to be guided and taught how to develop communication skills with the society around him or her. Even today’s educated parents expect their child to face the camera and competitions from a very young and tender age. So, it is very essential to groom him or her properly in every direction. In all these situations, parents, mom and dad have a very important role to play in their kid’s life.

Kids do commit mistakes and still wait to perform better if given one more chance. So every dad should realise that a child waits for his compliment or appreciation. So an ideal dad should have few impressive qualities which make the child proud of his or her parents.

What Dads Should Avoid Doing in Front of Kids?

1. Dads should ensure that they never indulge in loose talks in front of kids

2. Should never smoke or have unhygienic habits

3. Should never drink and have wrong relations in the society

4. Should never view obscene movies or television programs

5. Should never pick up fights with neighbours as this will be carried forward by the kids

6. Should never indulge in fast driving as it is against the traffic rules

7. Also a dad should ensure he does not ignore traffic signals or break traffic rules

8. Dads should never ridicule others, as the kids learn by seeing

9. Dads are the best persons to teach how to use resources and money, they should never waste the resources

10. Dads should never behave irresponsible

Not all the time, a dad will get an opportunity to teach his kids. There are so many things which kids learn by observing their elders. Finally, as a dad, be an example and teach the child to respect ladies. If the dads smoke, drink or indulge in unhealthy habits, it affects the growth of a kid adversely. This also will make the child remain passive smoker and develop health issues from a very young age. A kid also tries to develop these habits as he or she grows up in life. The worst part is, a kid will never feel guilty when he or she gets into these wrong habits. He or she loses her direction and tries to convince herself with her mediocre performance and not so good personality. This way, without his or her knowledge, he or she becomes a slave for various wrong things in the society.

Dad is a real great iconic figure for his kid. A child, especially a son loves to imitate his dad and become a great personality. So, every responsible dad should live a life of perfection which attracts his children to adopt in his life. Financial and societal status does not matter for any kids as long as he is his or her parent.
