Every phase of my pregnancy has been a blessing. There were moments I would stay wrapped up in emotion. There were times I loved to smile alone. And there were the hours I talked to the little one inside me. I loved every minute, every second and even the fraction of the second of the pregnancy phase. The day came when my Sid, was nestled in my arms. Tears flushed my face and I could not cease smiling. A healthy, normal and happy child! What more could a mother want? (I was soon to be answered this question). Taking care of him became my greatest joy. Taking him to walk on the pram, bathing him and loving him were all so easy.

I was witnessing my little one growing. My little one who lay asleep in the pram was now running in the house. I used to be gaga over his cooing, and now I am totally allured by him calling me Mumma. My kid who was used to eat with my hand, now started picking up food himself. It was all so beautiful. However, just when I thought everything was fine, my kid started behaving like a picky eater. I won’t eat this! I won’t eat that, became his usual stands. It was like I kept sitting on the dining table for hours and he did not even gulp down a single spoonful. It was definitely having an impact on his behavior. My sweet, lovable boy has suddenly become really irritable.

I was in a fuss. And then, I read some really handy tips, which I would love to share with all you mother. These tips have helped me and are sure will do the needful with you:-

• • Find out his taste- just like you and I like either very spicy dishes or have a sweet tooth. This is exactly applicable to the children. So, you need to find out what he or she likes. It is of no use giving porridge to your little one, if she has a more liking for salty things. So, try to find out and plan her menu according to it. Giving the same dish daily won’t help either. Try to alter them and they will love it.
  
  
• • Cartoon- children love to see cartoons. There are available a number of videos on YouTube which have children eating vegetables, whole food and complete meal. They are sure to be affected by it. In fact, you can put pictures of cartoon character eating in the wall of their room. They will love it. You can also take help for the same from his teachers. Kids love to listen to their teachers.
  
  
• • Good company- there must be one or two friends of his, who eat really well. It will be interesting to call those friends at your place for a play date. Together the children will be enjoying eating and playing. It will give them plenty of positive recommendations. And as for you as a mother, meeting other mother will aid you in reaching to solution to many common problems.
  
  
• • Family eating- this particular tip I love. So, rather than me eating separately and him at another time, I set the plate for two of us together. And then, I encourage him to eat with his own hand. What a mess he makes. But, he enjoys it. Moreover, he seems more interested in this. In fact, I pursued the same with the entire family, making him sit on the same dining and eating.
