Q: My five year old daughter is a very poor eater. I give her tonic for a better appetite. But this does not help. Please advise me.
A: Eating is one of the least priorities for a 5 year old child. If the childs weight is OK then leave the child alone. Avoid junk food. Q: My niece was was diagnosed with PC four years ago. Subsequently, she was treated for the same. She appears to be underweight now. She is active and intelligent. Is there any need for increasing her weight?
A: Diagnosing tuberculosis is not very easy. I am not sure what criteria were used to diagnose PC in your niece. Any long standing cough and cold could be misbranded as PC. She is on the lower margin of the normal weight. As she is otherwise active and well, I would not be bothered at all. Encourage her to eat whatever and whenever she wants. There is no cause for worry. HOME | Comments or Suggestions | Resources | RSS Site Map | Contact Us | Advertise with Us All Rights Reserved Worldwide. (c) 1999 - 2008 India Parenting Pvt. Ltd.
