I really enjoyed my pregnancy lot till 8th month but with the starting of 9th month I am getting every gift of pregnancy now.

My Update:
BP- 90/55
Baby Position- Head down
weight- 14 kgs till date [No increase in weight from last 2 weeks]

Gals actually from last 2 weeks I was having so much itching all over the body so I consulted my doctor. She asked me to have some blood test & we came to know that the bile acid value is high i.e 34 whereas normal value is 10.

So they started some medicine & they will observe me till this Tuesday, if this level comes down then it will be normal otherwise they need to induce labor & I have to opt for early delivery as this itching & increased level is not good for baby as well as mother. Have anyone of you or your friend faced this problem? If yes please throw some light on it. Thanks & all the best to u all.

i am happy to announce the birth of my daughter on 10th september. i was induced with prostglandlin gel at 4.30 in the morning. no contractions till 10. i got pain and contractions at 10.30 and delivered my darling baby girl at 1.35pm . labor and delivery was of just 3 hours. was very lucky and wish you all expecting moms a smooth and safe delivery. savitha replied. if bile acids are high then that means that your liver is finding it difficult to break down the pregnancy hormones as it should. check out info on cholestasis for further details on the net. do not panic. if diagnosed it can be monitored with medicines and labor can be induced so that mom and baby are safe. i had the symptoms of cholestasis but my my bile acids were normal. the itching on palms and soles lasted for 15 days. but now i am ok. i am 40 weeks & 2 days and am getting induced tomorrow.all the best to you.
