Hi there,

Just saw your note on incompinent cervix and having a premature baby.Well,Let me introduce myself here.I have been diagonised with IC when i was 16 weeks pregnant.I had cervical cerclage done after that.It is a small procedure they did do me.I was able to carry my baby till 34 W and 5 D.I had to deliver my baby after that.It was C-sec.The reason i delivered is not because of Incompinent cervix.I had preclampsia.Pregnancy induced High blood presurre .My baby was in NICU for 12 days.After that he was able to breathe even out side Incubator.So they discharged him later.My baby is very active n by god' s grace he is doing very good.Only milestones are slow....Otherwise he is a very active kid.Your opinion about premature baby is wrong.There is no need to worry about it.After all you are having IC.So just chill and take good care of yourself.IC will not result in premature birth.Good luck!
