i am from Bangalore but my parents are living in Pune.. i may have to go back to Pune for my delivery coz my mother-in-law doesn' t want me here during that time.. can u suggest a good Gyn in Pune in the Camp area? my mom used to go to Dr. Rao but she has retired now.. though i would prefer to be with my hubby here in Bangalore during delivery my mother-in-law is making it very difficult for me to stay back here.. i still have to decide where to have my baby but i am more keen on staying with my hubby coz i want us to connect with the baby together.. i don' t want him to feel left out of the experience.. well, let' s see..

As for gynaecs in Pune, I have been going to Dr Sanjay Gupte, Gupte Hospital at Bhandarkar road. Theirs is an all women speciality hospital, and I found the overall approach and line of treatment very good.

You may, otherwise, also consider Dr Jyoti Unni at Jehangir hospital. She is one of the best gynaecs in Pune and is very well reputed.

there is good gynaec in camp called Dr MInu Agarwal, she is also attached to ruby hall, my fren took treatment from her , My fren said she is good, her OPD is close to M.G rd also in ruby hall clinic. I can absolutely understand wht you may be going thro' ME n my hubby have taken permission from the doc to allow my hubby to be inside the labour room during delivery, It is very imp to be together at these times another most imp thing is after the delivery you would need good rest which i feel would be possible at mums place rather than in laws. So keep all these things in mind and take decision , if you plan to deliver in pune make sure you meet the doctor well in advance in the 7 th or 8 th month itself and make the case easy for the doc.All the best keep posting.
