I know it superstitions but as Saba said can' t take any risk for our darling baby..
Tej after reading in your input that it was' nt seen in India i' m relaxed now.. as during that time i had cut vegetables and also had breakfast.

i too came to know it late almost when it was over, my parents are quiet orthodox in baby matters but we were not suppose to take any precaution as the eclipse wasnt seen here ,tht is wht our family jyotish( pandit) told me.

I have been told dat during the eclipse an expecting mother shud' nt venture out, shudnt make use of any sharp object like knife, scissors etc.....

Frankly i find all dis quite superstitious.... but den again none of us wud wanna take any chances wen it comes to our darling baby rite.....

I hd to b home till 12:30 den moved to office.

I am from july board. Yes today is solar elclipse. But it is not visible in India. Though one must be careful & should not go out during that time. And also there is Lunar eclipse on 21st of Feb 2008. It is visible in India. Please do take care.
