Hi
I am trying to conceive for the past 5 years. I am 29 years old. My problem is ovary cysts and my body didnt respond properly for clomoid and HSG. It developed few eggs(3 or 4 each cycle) but the eggs didnt grow to the desired size. I have irregular menstural cycle. My fallopian tubes are normal. My husband;s sperm count is good. Now i want to give a fresh start with GG hospital. Anybody can tell me about the facilities and success rates. And most important thing is fee. Any idea about the fee. I am a middle class women.
Or any other suggestion for me ? Pl advice me.
Thanks

Hi veena
Even my doc gave me clomoid and FSH injections for three cycles, but my follicles didnt grew upto to the required size. My doctor put me with METFORMIN 500mg for nearly 6 months. She told me my follicles didnt grew properly because of the cysts. She asked me to take METFORMIN alone and didnt want to try clomoid continuously. Now this month again i must see my doctor. So i dont know what to do. Moreover my periods are irregular. Now i am upset, confused and really dont know whther we will be blessed with kids.
Thanks and Regards

priya !
i know its easy to say, but the first thing u have to do is keep calm. i went with metformin for 6-8m and then 3 cycles of Fsh injections and then one unsuccessful ivf, so i was in the same state u r. i then took a 3 months leave from all this as i was fed up. After that we again went through the procedures and this time with god's grace were successful. i know right now things might appear very confusing the the future uncertain, but please do not stop trying. If u require take a break and get your holdings together. my prayers r with u.
god bless

Hi
thanks for the reply. Do u think ovarian drilling will be helpful to remove the cysts. IVF cost is too much for me to afford. Do u have any idea about GG hospital chennai.
Thanks a lot in taking effort to give reply.
Regards

priya,
ovarian drilling helps in some cases, but there is no guarantee for it. as u said that there is no problem with ur hubby's sperm count why dont' u go for IUI along with FSH injections. did u consult a good doc ? what r their suggestions? i do not know about chennai.

hey priya !
I am an example as how pcods can get pregnant. As in retu's case my doc tried FSH injection + clomid and i responded well. Doc gave us option of IUI and IVF. We went along with IVF ad got preg. IUI will cost u around 20-40 k and IVF around 90 - 1.5 lacs according to ur clinic. Please go to a good infertility expert before trying anything. If u need as further clarifications, dont' hesitate.
best of luck

Hi Priya,
Even I have PCOS. Even I was not responding to clomid. My doctor tried 3 FSH injection + clomid. I did ovolute with this and follicles were of correct size. But I did not get pg because of male factor. I am planning for IVF because of that.

All the best to you

reetu,
tks for the wishes. i had mine done at mumbai. i am sure u r well versed with the actual process of IVF, which ur doc might have explained. my only advice is to go through it with complete faith and a calm mind. leave the outcome to GOD. Also go through the sites reg IVF, which will prepare u better.
