Due Date Club December 2008:fluid level is high

Name: deepika yesterday i had appointment with the doctor acording to her my tummy is bigger wht it supposed to be at this stage. She is saying baby is with normal growth but water level is high.......now she asked me to come again after 3weeks for checkup if she still finds water level high she said she will give steroids do anyone have idea on this as i dont have and a bit worried too

im frm navi mumbai.. well though i managed through diet n exercise mine kept fluctuating which is REALLY bad..so i met up a dibetologist and ws on insulin twice a day.. for almost 2 mnths
well whats ur FLI level .. 20 is considered high and 35 ws risk ..i was on 32!!! for which i immidiatly switched to insulins and within weeks it came dwn to normal 13 and remained so till birth...
i will still say take 2nd opinion fast steroids at any stage is a no no ... insulin doesnt pass to baby so its ok but steroids will and can have serious long time effect

high fluid can b for sev reason even i had a high FLI but ofcurce after 30weeks as i had GD so what is ur level ...jst by seeing tummy 1 cannot predict it has to b determined by an usg ...and steroids during any stage of preg is nt good ..better get a 2nd opinion

I have GD and my last scan report was showing the level high actually she was measuring the tummy then she asked me to undergo a scan now again she asked me to go for it after 3 weeks to have close watch if it comes high she said she will give the steriods. till then she asked me to have control diet. thts wht i am also thinking to get a second a opnion from somewhere. Where are you actually from and how are you managing with ur GD

first of all hai to all,
i very new to this site...(sry for the late reply)....although im not mom ,my mom use to fed us very frequently....
raggi should be fried on a pan with light
flame...it should not be roasted like...
(be carefull it splits when frying)then grind it,remove all skin etc...
