I am planning to travel to India from US(west coast) and staying there for approx 2 months.I wanted to know if it is safe to make such a trip.I asked my doc and she said it shud be fine...but still I am a lil worried abt such a long jorney.Please let me know ur opinions

hi Sri,
As long your doc has cleared your trip, I do not see why you should worry. As the journey will be a long one, take precautions to keep yourself hydrated and comfortable throughout. If you travel during the second trimester, you shd not have much discomfort. I am going to India for my delivery but my travel time is much lesser than yours only 4.5 hrs as i am based in Singapore. The gynae over here says that travel is not an issue aslong as your preg has no complications. So all the best, have a great trip! Keep in touch

do u wanna travel now or after ur baby is born?

if now, then the best time to travel during pregnancy is from 3 and a half monts to 6 and a half months. while pregnant, it is better if u do air travel. but the best person to consult is your doctor. there are certain foot stretching exercises you can do on the flight that will help you be more... - sheetal [View Message]

i am 32 weeks pregnant
and i have had horrible horrible morning sickness through out and as a result severe acidity.

the two things that worked for me like a miracle were medication and home remedies.

every pregnancy is different so the latest you might start showing will be the 7th month.

you can attend college right till your 8th month but provided you don' t stress yourself out.
ie, eat every 2 hrs.
take your medicines and supplements
do not sit in one position for too long.
