Due Date Club February 2009:Helping hand?

Are you staying with your inlaws? Are you planning to deliver at your IL' s or your mom' s? Of course one would be most comfortable at your Mom' s place, but was wondering if anyone of you have thought what to do around delivery and how are you planning to seek helping hand?

I have already started missing my Mom and I wish I was close to her!!

Hello Aditi,
yup its true that we feel comfortable with our Mom around !
As i am working ,for my first delivary i had it here in b' lore itself and my mom was with him from my 7th month and mother-in-law also came around 8th month. didnt got my mom' s or in-law' s place.
For this devliary too i will have it here. This time my paretns are in singapore wiht my younger sister. Hope they will come here during jan end.I am lucky(touchwood) that My inlaws are with me , helping me in taking care of my first kid now .

Aditi, where are u from and whats ur plan? anyone from b' lore ?

and i have had horrible horrible morning sickness through out and as a result severe acidity.

the two things that worked for me like a miracle were medication and home remedies.

every pregnancy is different so the latest you might start showing will be the 7th month.

you can attend college right till your 8th month but provided you don' t stress yourself out.
ie, eat every 2 hrs.
take your medicines and supplements
do not sit in one position for too long.
